She just....shakes my world up after I think I've reached solid ground. Its a miserable after effect....but so joyous when its happening. I laugh though cause maybe she doesn't see it, but all she is is a hypocrite. But there are moments that I look back on. Moments where I was so sure it was real. I guess it was all just a really good illusion. But what amazes me the most is how you can walk away when you were never really here to start with. You were gone before I ever said goodbye. So that all being said, it was fun while it lasted and thanks for the rejection and pretending to be 'different'. Another lesson learned. I hope you find what you're searching for and let it be what you deserve. I would have never done you wrong and I never would have put a knife in your back, despite the knives in mine. I would never have turned my back on you, I'm not that kind of person. So I hope you know what you've lost. Its that wonder that hurts the most. If its goodbye, be a big girl and say it. I'm a man, I'll be just fine. Just stop wasting my time. The weakest excuse a woman has for hurting a man is that she DIDN'T want to hurt him. All I ever wanted from you was the honest truth. I wanted to strike you...fight with you...say all the things in my head and make you listen. But then I blinked and it all passed and I realized that honestly, you weren't worth the trouble. But it hurts, oh it does. Because I feel betrayed. Its not the fact that you're not with me that hurts, its the fact that I was lied to and tossed aside like I didn't matter. I burned your letters, threw your necklace into the woods, and for the first time...you called me and I didn't answer. I'm worth more than scraps of your time. Better than nothing isn't good enough anymore. Maybe if you would have called yesterday, maybe I'd still care. Maybe if you would have called the day before, maybe I'd still be there. Sometimes I'd rather be used than invisible. Have you ever poured your heart out to a guy and sat and waited for his response? Thats the most miserable experience. You dread reading his response but pray to God he responds. Is it bad when I want you to call just so I can not answer? Theres an emptiness in my soul once again by someone who forgot me who promised me they wouldn't. I'm too bright for your darkness. Yet in the back of mind it will always echo, why are you settling for me when there are so many girls out there that are better than I? I want to ask you, but I'm more afraid to know the answer. Scars are reminders. They aren't always visible, but you know they are there. But not only that, you need them. You need to be reminded of how bad love can suck. Why?
